03/31/12- Doggies in the Snow
We got up and left at 5am to get over to Daniel and Maria’s in Reedley, so then we could pack up their van with the 4 of us, the 4 dogs, and James and Bekah, and head up to King’s Canyon to see if we could find some snow to go sledding in and let the doggies run around. Our doggies had never been to the snow, and, because they have short hair and are still puppies with not very much fur on their bellies, we went to Walmart and found little girl’s fleece’s for $3 and cut the sleeves so Cole and Kensi could wear them and stay a little warm! They LOVED the snow. It took a little figuring out at first, they kind of hopped around trying to figure out why they were sinking, but when Samson and Schiatzi started to run around with them, they got all excited and had fun chasing them around for a couple of hours!
03/27/12- Dog House Plans (iPhone4)
The doggies are growing out of their crate, like, they touch on their backs, bottoms, and noses. Its so sad, but we don’t have anything else to do with them when it rains or when we have to leave them when its dark. I found this great dog house on Pinterest from Better Homes and Gardens that I want to make, so I started using my framing skills from Potter’s Clay to plan out how I want to build it and figure out the materials we will need.
03/25/12- Fighting for the Lap (iPhone4)
Tim and I needed to do homework for Perspectives, but the doggies wouldn’t have it! They kept fighting over our laps. Kensi is winning here over Cole for her daddy’s lap!
03/24/12- Jump, Kensi, Jump!
Kensi is our little jumper, but this is the first time she went crazy!!! We found a beach stick that they liked, and when Tim picked it up to throw it, they both started jumping to try to get it! Here is Kensi jumping OVER Cole trying to get the stick!

03/22/12- Bottle Love
Ever since my dad gave Cole an old Gatorade bottle when he was 3 months old, Cole has been obsessed with plastic bottles! This one is an old cranberry juice bottle and he has been carrying it around, inside and outside, for weeks.
03/21/12- Going for the Jugular
The doggies have gotten into this habit of going for each other’s necks when they are wrestling. I can’t say its good (they leave scabs that turn into little scars on each other), but it makes for some pretty sweet pictures!!!
